Welcome to the Elite Lionets

The Elite Lionets is a dynamic mentoring program dedicated to uplifting young women, specifically African American girls aged 13-18. Our mission is to provide a nurturing environment where these young women can thrive academically and personally, pushing beyond societal limitations to become leaders of tomorrow.

Our Story

Born from an urgent need to address the challenges facing our young women—such as academic hurdles, low self-esteem, and negative societal portrayals—The Elite Lionets was established to foster positive change. Our program is designed to guide participants in overcoming these barriers by equipping them with essential life skills and opportunities for growth.

At the core of The Elite Lionets are our five foundational pillars—Scholarship, Sisterhood, Teamwork, Empowerment, and Ambition—which serve as a roadmap for college and career planning.
Becoming a Lionet

To join The Elite Lionets, prospective members must complete an application and go through a selection process. Our mentoring sessions occurs on the third Saturday of each month from August to May and are led by dedicated mentors from Theta Zeta Epsilon Sorority, Inc., who undergo a rigorous screening process to ensure they can offer the best guidance and support.

By participating in our program, young women are empowered to realize their dreams and prepare for a successful future, both in high school and beyond. If you or someone you know is ready to take bold steps toward personal and academic achievement, we invite you to apply to become part of The Elite Lionets.
